My approach is warm and open. I believe that the best therapeutic relationships are characterised by trust, authenticity and spontaneity.
And so I bring my own vulnerability into the encounter - I am not an expert, but a fellow traveller, curious and committed to understanding you. I may invite you to slow down and focus on your moment-to-moment embodied responses in order to foster a deep and vital connection with your lived experience. To take you out of your head and into your body's wisdom.

I do not offer fixed ideas or advice; I want to give you the space to be exactly who you are and to respect the particularity of your situation. Instead we work collaboratively to come to a better understanding of your difficulties. Together we may notice patterns in thoughts and behaviours and make connections to the past.
I am particularly interested in early relational patterns and how they reveal themselves in our adult lives and even within the therapeutic relationship. Bringing these into awareness can help us to move forward with greater freedom and choice.

There is no 'right' way of doing therapy. You are under no obligation to talk about anything that you don't want to. It can be a space for you to simply be. Without expectation. And see what comes up .
